The owners of this Rovinj hotel say that their story is very simple – they simply adore Rovinj. They even got married there. Pula-based Lea Lazarić Calvert, an investment banker, and Adrian Calvert, an Australian lawyer, entrepreneur and venture investor, met during their studies, and decided to start a hotel after visiting Rovinj, where they got married and simply fell in love.
Design Hotel The Melegran is located in the Old Town, in a 19th-century stone building on Garzotto Street. It contains 13 accommodation units, each of which is different from the other, but equally charismatic, charming and vibrant. Each room “has its own story”, and guests are offered the opportunity to share their own story using a typewriter! They have also recently added a lounge room, which guests can access at any time, for example after a walk around the city, to read a book, socialize or bingeal their favorite Netflix series.
