Why The Melegran?
Melegran means pomegranate in the old northwestern Istrian dialect, and pomegranate is a symbol of Rovinj. But we also liked the idea that most cultures have a story about the melegran in their past. And we want all cultures to feel at home when you stay at The Melegran.
Melegran in the Hills
Istrian countryside with its superb cuisine and rustic vineyards is an undiscovered gem. That’s why we built a hilltop villa close to the jazz town of Grožnjan, nestled amongst vineyards, some of which supply the wines in the hotels bar.
